Posted 1/31/2013 5:21:27 PM (Patch 5.1.0)The best crops since 5.2 are the enigma seeds. They increased the "drop" rate for golden lotuses (while nerfing the mote of harmony plants) - so you can get 5-10 golden lotuses/day from your farm.

Posted 1/21/2013 2:28:00 PM (Patch 5.1.0)Golden Lotus either spawn as their own plant, or can proc from other Pandaria herbs, including the Sha-Touched Herbs.
You can also grow them on your farm using Enigma Seeds, or can purchase them in your faction's city in Vale using Spirits of Harmony.
