In an effort to reduce waste, Blizzard is reusing some of these old IDs for pets that weren't implemented. In Patch 6.2.2, this NPC is now Zeradar (instead of Murkimus Tyrannicus).
These items are found randomly around the Timeless Isle. They grant special abilities to the player, which can be used to open up the Mysterious Den and summon the rare creature Spelurk.
This rare elite is absolutely massive and has a whopping 218 million HP to match. His abilities are all dodgeable, but you will still want a group to deal with his incredible HP pool. His level is 93 as well, the same level of raid bosses in Mists of Pandaria.
On the PTR, I spent about 15k-20k Timeless Coins and got two Burden of Eternities, which typically cost 100k each. This was -before- the Burden of Eternity was placed on the vendor for 100k, so take it with a grain of salt, but if this remains true, then gambling with these keys will almost always yield better results than buying Burden of Eternities directly from the vendor.
This rare creature is summoned by shattering the rocks blocking entrance to the Mysterious Den. There are two ways to do this. The intentional way is to pick up one of the Timeless Legends that spawn randomly around the Isle and use the item's special ability on the cave-in. The unintentional way is to use Blink (Mage) or Displacer Beast (Druid) to go straight through the rocks, pick up the Rock-breaking Hammer on the inside of the cave, and break the rocks from the inside.
Tattered Note provides a clue that is supposed to make you think of using the special abilities from the Timeless Legends on the cave-in.
This rare NPC can spawn in any of the four corners of the main Ordon Temple area. He also always has a pair of High Priest of Ordos buddies with him, which makes him incredibly difficult to solo. I recommend getting a group for this one.
Empowering the Hourglass: Quests after this one can only be done once a week and require doing this quest every week first. This means it takes 6 weeks to complete this quest chain.
A Vision in Time: You'll need a friend to help you form a raid group.

This probably didn't make it in-game, but it's possible it is a super rare drop from rare mobs.

He drops over 1500 Timeless Coins on death.

Using this on the cave-in blocking the Mysterious Den will summon the rare creature Spelurk.

These Sprites become Angry Sprites if you break their Neverending Spritewood. You can do this up to once a day.

Yes, this can be done on any difficulty. The only requirement is to be inside the raid instance.
