Posted Oct 17, 2014 (Patch 6.0.2)Great for transmogrification! The blade has a
Fiery Weapon-like glow. The weapon summons 3 Pumpkin Soldiers that will act like combat pets (minus the pet action bar plus they're temporary). The pumpkins will not despawn if you unequip the sword, but unequipping prematurely will cause only one or two to be summoned. Back in The Burning Crusade, these soldiers were helpful - but as patches & expansions have progressed, they've become little more than flavor. Alas.
