Taoshi will assist the player with killing mantids by applying a debuff to the mantid that is attacking the player. I was a semi-geared level 90 mage, so I tended to kill the monsters faster than Taoshi would appear. I may not have captured all her emotes.

Taoshi says:

• Take that message back to your queen, mantid.
• You will learn to fear our blades, mantid.
• Deadly efficiency. (I think this emote occurs when the target mantid dies within a short time.)
• One fewer of these pests behind the blockade.
• What desperation makes them think they stand a chance past our lines...
• You should never have left the Dread Wastes, mantid.
• Good work.  Meet me at the eastern entrance to the blockade.  We need to find the hole in the defenses and plug it. (when you kill the last mantid needed for the quest)

Once you have killed twelve mantid for the quest, Taoshi will no longer assist you in slaying them. She is waiting for you at the east blockade entrance.
